1. Taran Adarsh -
Rating Score -> 3.5/5
Sharp writing... Captivating, emotionally-charged second half... Solid performances... #Dhadak2 works for the most part... But the love story lacks the soul-stirring soundtrack that elevated the first part.

2. Indian Express -
Rating Score -> 2.5/5
After Saiyaara, the passion in Triptii Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi’s feels performative. Sidhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri star in a film which is clearly on the right side of many of the hot button issues we need to be pressing: casteism, classism, feminism, gender identities.

3. Rediff -
Rating Score -> 4/5
Dhadak 2 deserves to be celebrated, watched, and streamed in as many theatres in India and abroad so more people, including the less privileged, find the courage to live and tell their truth.

4. Hindustan Times -
Rating Score -> 2.5/5
Dhadak 2 is a film that carries a powerful message but fumbles with its storytelling. It wants to speak about caste, oppression, and systemic injustice- and when it does, it hits the right notes. But it's weighed down by an uneven narrative and an overstretched runtime.

5. India Today -
Rating Score -> 3/5
‘Dhadak 2’ has its heart in the right place and boasts compelling performances, but it stops short of becoming the powerful, unapologetic film it had the potential to be.

6. News 18 -
Rating Score -> 3.5/5
It’s worth noting that Dhadak 2 isn’t an original story. It’s a remake of the much-loved Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal. But even as a remake, it feels fresh and meaningful, especially in a world full of sloppy adaptations. This one stands tall.

7. India TV -
Rating Score -> 3/5
While cringeworthy videos from Saiyaara theatre shows might have given you the ick, this won't happen with a film like Dhadak 2. This movie may not see the same box office success as Ahaan and Aneet's film, but it deserves much more respect for the cast and makers for choosing the subject and delivering it.

8. Komal Nahta -
Rating Score -> n/a
Dhadak 2 is too ordinary a fare to shine at the box-office. Although the music and performances of the main artistes are very good, it will not be able to score at the ticket windows.

9. NDTV -
Rating Score -> 3/5
This Siddhant Chaturvedi And Triptii Dimri Film Unsettles You, Doesn't Pull Any Punches On Caste Violence. The Shazia Iqbal film calls a spade a spade, but the ending feels too good to be true.

10. The Hindu -
Rating Score -> n/a
Siddhant Chaturvedi, Triptii Dimri star in a timely but prosaic version of ‘Pariyerum Perumal’. In ‘Dhadak 2’, director Shazia Iqbal makes a brave statement on everyday caste discrimination in society, but the parts of speech don’t add up to create a consistently stirring experience
