Son of Sardaar 2 Movie Review
Star Cast - Ajay Devgn, Mrunal Thakur, Sanjay Dutt
Director - Vijay Kumar Arora

Rating Score -> 2.5/5
'Son of Sardaar 2' is a clean family entertainer that tries to tick every box - comedy, drama, patriotism, romance - but ends up being an uneven ride. It lacks the magic and madness of the original 'Son of Sardaar', and suffers from weak storytelling.

Rating Score -> 1.5/5
Son of Sardaar 2 is unnecessarily noisy and boring to the power of infinity. The movie is all about the hero (Ajay Devgn). And Chunky Pandey, what were you even doing in this film? This movie is nothing, but an insult to the audience’s intellect. My dear Bollywood filmmakers what worked in 2012 is not going to work in 2025!

Ajay Devgn smiles, which feels like an apology for the rubbish we just endured in the name of comedy.
4. Hindustan Times -
Rating Score -> 3/5
Son of Sardaar 2 is not smart cinema, it’s not even necessary cinema, but it knows exactly what it’s doing. It throws logic out, drags a dhol band in, and somehow marches to the beat of its own madness. And you won’t hate the noise.

Ajay Devgn's Jassi Randhawa Anchors Comic Caper But Predictable Plot Holds It Back

A joyless ride – lacks fun, laughter, excitement, and freshness... The dated writing is the biggest culprit... Most importantly, the jokes don't land. #SOS2 #SOS2Review #SonOfSardaar2Review

Son Of Sardaar 2 is an ordinary fare which can hope to score during a couple of weekends mainly, more in single-screen cinemas. Lack of excitement around the film will restrict its box-office takings.

Rating Score -> 2/5
Deepak Dobriyal runs away with Ajay Devgn-Mrunal Thakur’s hare-brained comedy. Ajay Devgn leads this enterprise which wants to be a laugh-a-minute, madcap caper, but keeps slackening? Pair your hero with an age-appropriate leading lady, and give him a few chuckle-worthy lines. Can't be that hard, can it?
9. NDTV -
Rating Score -> 1.5/5
Son of Sardaar 2 revels in palming off buffoonery as jocularity and that has for long been the bane of movies like this avoidable follow-up to a film that went everywhere is search of the zany and did occasionally finds its way out of a maze of its own making. The sequel doesn't.
10. News 18 -
Rating Score -> 3/5
Son of Sardar 2 is a decent watch that you can think of watching at the theatres near you with your family. Though the film tries to give a message at the end, go with a mindset to watch some pure slapstick comedy that doesn’t require you to apply your mind and logic.
