1. India Today -

Rating Score -> 2/5
Thank God is a Diwali release aimed at pleasing family crowds. Despite Ajay’s star power and Siddharth’s charm, the film fails to hold the viewers' interest. Thank God will need more than divine intervention to redeem itself at the box office.

2. Taran Adarsh -

Rating Score -> 3/5
#ThankGod: ENTERTAINING. Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Simple entertainer that delivers plenty of laughs… Loosens grip intermittently, but the feeling of having watched a feel-good film is what you carry home… #AjayDevgn wonderful, #SidharthMalhotra striking. #ThankGodReview

3. Times of India -

Rating Score -> 3/5
The story is stuck in the 90s and oversimplified but the movie makes for an easy watch. It might find favour with audiences who want a clean entertainer, as the film has a message or two about moving on about tribulations, being humane and the importance of one’s family.

4. Indian Express -

Rating Score -> 1/5
Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra film is dull and pointless. Thank God was meant to be a cautionary tale, laced with lessons and laughter. Where’s the fun? Even the Almighty can’t do a thing about it.

5. Hindustan Times -

Rating Score -> n/a
Siddharth Malhotra leads a lifeless afterlife comedy. Siddharth Malhotra and Ajay Devgn star in sometimes funny, mostly disappointing comedy about afterlife.

6. News 18 -

Rating Score -> 3/5
On the whole, Thank God is an entertainer with its share of funny moments. If you are not looking for wisdom and rationale in a light-hearted entertainer, then this movie is definitely for you.

7. Rediff -

Rating Score -> 2/5
Is Thank God worth a watch? Well, if a mediocre, poorly-executed story with '90s music is your jam, then go ahead. Otherwise, Thank God is mostly a boring affair. Neither the dialogues nor the jokes pack a solid punch.

8. Komal Nahta -

Rating Score -> n/a
Thank God has comedy but it is not hilarious. It will, therefore, not find too many takers. Diwali period will, of course, help.

9. Mid-day -

Rating Score -> 3/5
Though overtly simplistic, the story still lands. The actors service the script in the most basic fashion without adding any of their natural flair to it. Imagine what that means for an actor of Devgn’s calibre or for leading man Sidharth Malhotra, who is fresh off the success of his last release, Shershaah

  1. Bollywood must stop by making crap movies and also must learn from South industries (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam). A big salute to south industries for making such a good movies not only big budget movies but also their small movies are far far better than Bollywood's big budget story less, feeling less crap movies.

    Jai Hind Jai Maharashtra.
