Laal Singh Chaddha has taken a comparatively lower start on Friday (2nd day) morning shows as early samples are coming in. Start is lower than Thursday (1st day), despite being day 1 numbers are low. This is bit of a shock.
Laal Singh Chaddha has opened to 12-13% occupancy in the morning shows of the second day. Samples are from multiplexes only. For the same, Thursday's opening was 15%. It means a drop of 15-20% is seen when only morning shows are taken into consideration.

Thursday - 15%
Laal Singh Chaddha underperformed at the box office on Thursday. As thing stands story looks the same for the second day also unless film shows significant growth in the latter half of the day.
Yes, LSC is the weakest Aamir Khan opener in the longest time. But more than that the film is carrying heavy cost and a good theatrical recovery is a must. And the way the film is performing it is looking tough at this moment. The positive part is that Saturday, Sunday, and Independence Day holiday is still to come. But again the ground-level reports are extremely mixed at this moment. That is not a good sign.
