Thankfully, it is not your typical Bollywood masala film based on true events and told with the colours of a rainbow. Agnihotri tells the horrible tale as it should have been told.

I am really satisfied that finally a movie has been made that depicts the forgotten exodus of kashmiri pandits from their homeland. Being a kashmiri pandit myself my heart is weeping. No one came to help us be it political parties, police or even army.
ReplyDeleteEven with only 550 screens this movie will do at least 70-75Cr business. Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri’s last film The Tashkent files opened at mere 30 lacs on 250 screens & still finished at nearly 25 Crores which is more than 5x its budget. Kashmir files, otoh is super hyped, & from tomorrow the shows will start increasing. And this is all happening without any Bollywood PR. It is the the masses that is doing PR for this film
