Bachchhan Paandey has taken a good start on Friday (1st day) in the morning shows although screenings are very limited because of Holi. Screenings and showings will increase post afternoon period and collections should get a further boost by then.
Bachchhan Paandey has taken an opening of 40% or so in the limited shows in the morning. The start is not at all bad but screenings are very limited. The film should grow further from afternoon and evening onwards.
Bachchhan Paandey is facing very stiff opposition in The Kashmir Files. In an ideal case, Bachchhan Paandey needed an opening of 15-20 crore nett if not more. But now many factors have changed. Stakes are against Bachchhan Paandey. Hence, a double digit start will be ok. Anything above the double-digit mark will be an added bonus.
Bachchhan Paandey will need good trending in coming days to emerge as a success. Saturday (2nd Day) and Sunday (3rd Day) will be extremely crucial. A 50 crore nett in the first weekend will be a bare minimum mark. Anything below that will be alarming and then will needed excellent trending from 1st Monday onward.
It is still early days and we hope that Bachchhan Paandey not only withstand the storm named TKF and fly high in the coming days ahead.
