Chand Mera Dil Day 4 Box Office Collection: Decent Monday Hold, But Film Still Struggles
Chand Mera Dil managed to register a decent hold on its first Monday and collected ₹2.3 crore net approx on Day 4. The film reported around 15% occupancy on Monday, which indicates some stability after the opening weekend. However, the hold is simply not enough considering the film underperformed during its first weekend.
Ideally, the film needed its Day 4 collection to remain on a similar level to Friday numbers. Even that might not have been sufficient to completely change the box office trajectory, but it would have at least provided some hope for a stronger first week run.
The film had already ended its opening weekend on a disappointing note with collections falling short of expectations. As a result, the Monday performance had become extremely crucial. While the hold is respectable, the overall collections continue to remain below expectations.
With the latest numbers, Chand Mera Dil has now accumulated approximately ₹13.55 crore net in four days. The film’s first week total is now trending towards the ₹20-22 crore net range, which is underwhelming considering the expectations.
