Night Update (8 PM IST): Ikkis has registered a drop on Day 2. Yes, with the holiday period over, a drop was inevitable, but considering it was only the second day, a decent hold was expected. However, that hasn’t happened, as the film has registered a drop of over 50%. The film is expected to do a business of around ₹3 crore net for the day. With this, the two-day total now stands at approximately ₹10 crore net. Ideally, the two-day total should have been a bit higher. Now, all eyes are on Day 3. Being a Saturday, a minimum growth of 40–50% is expected. Whether the film manages to achieve that or not remains to be seen.
Afternoon Update (2 PM IST): Ikkis has shown a jump in the noon–afternoon shows, reporting 13–15% occupancy. Overall occupancy for the day so far stands at around 10–11%. Based on trends till 2 PM IST, the film is targeting ₹3–3.5 cr net approx for the day. Ideally, the film needed a slightly better collection, and now all eyes are on whether it can show strong growth in the evening and night shows. Stay tuned!
Morning Update (11 AM IST): Ikkis has started slowly on Day 2 morning shows. The film has registered 5–10% occupancy in the morning, which is a bit below the desired level. However, the film can recover ground if it shows solid growth as the day progresses. As of now, considering the film sees decent to solid growth, it is expected to do a business of around ₹3–3.5 crore net for the day. Ideally, the film needs better collections than this.
