KANTARA: CHAPTER 1 BOX OFFICE COLLECTION DAY 15 (2nd THURSDAY)
Kantara: Chapter 1 had an outstanding second week at the box office. The film collected a huge ₹149 crore net approx in all languages during Week 2. In the same period, the Hindi version accumulated around ₹54.2 crore net approx.
The film held extremely well, with the drop in the Hindi version being less than 50% compared to Week 1. It still has enough steam left and should continue to perform well throughout the Diwali holiday period. However, with new Diwali releases arriving, the number of screenings will get reduced.
The all-language total has now touched the ₹475 crore net mark and is racing towards the ₹500 crore net milestone. In Hindi, the film has crossed the ₹160 crore net mark and should comfortably surpass ₹175 crore net. If it shows an outstanding hold on the third Friday, even the ₹200 crore net mark is a possibility.
The film is a SMASH HIT and is expected to emerge as a SUPER HIT by the end of the third weekend or so.
