Baaghi 4 Movie Review
Star Cast - Tiger Shroff, Sanjay Dutt
Director - A. Harsha
1. First Post -
Rating Score -> 1.5/5
It’s a film where the editing is so inconsistent that you lose interest in the action even before it begins. It’s also supposed to be a film that can potentially revive the dwindling career of its leading man, who once was the infallible celluloid star.
2. Times Now -
Rating Score -> 2/5
Baaghi 4 is choppy, relying heavily on song and dance. Ronnie and Alisha’s love story is done and dusted. The slow-mos and cheesy romance offer nothing new. The story confuses between being gritty and superficially staged.
3. NDTV -
Rating Score -> 2.5/5
Baaghi creaks under the weight of the excess that it packs into its 160 minutes of relentless bloodletting. Impalements, dismemberments and bullets through hearts and heads - most of them, mercifully, are kept off camera - are strewn across the film.
4. Hindustan Times -
Rating Score -> 2/5
Baaghi 4 is like being promised a roller coaster and being handed a merry-go-round. It goes in circles, makes some noise, and looks flashy from a distance, but once you are on it, you just wait for the ride to end.
5. India Today -
Rating Score -> 1/5
The action in 'Baaghi 4' is so senseless that it doesn't even serve as a point of discussion, let alone take the story forward. By the second half, you give up trying to follow who’s fighting whom and for what reason.
6. Indian Express -
Rating Score -> 1/5
Tiger Shroff bleeds, Sanjay Dutt snarls, you flinch. One star to Tiger Shroff film for surprising us every time we think Ronny surely has butchered enough, or when you think Sanjay Dutt can’t be doing his maniacal laugh one more time.
7. Rediff -
Rating Score -> 1.5/5
If it wasn't so violent, there would have been a few unintended laughs in Baaghi 4, but this one has not a shred of humour amidst the nonstop mayhem.
8. India TV -
Rating Score -> 1.5/5
'Baaghi 4' has joined the list of films that try to present the old formula in new packaging but fail to understand the changing expectations of the audience. This film shows that just breaking bones, slow-mo action and VFX cannot pull the audience to the theatre.
9. Komal Nahta -
Rating Score -> n/a
Baaghi 4 will prove to be an average fare. It will lose out heavily on business as it will not get the patronage of womenfolk and families due to its excessive and gruesome action.
