WAR 2 BOX OFFICE COLLECTION DAY 1 (THURSDAY)
Night Update (11 PM IST): War 2 collected a strong ₹52-53 cr net approx on Day 1. The Telugu version performed exceptionally well, pushing the business beyond the ₹50 cr net mark. In Hindi, collections were simply decent and could have been better. All eyes are now on Friday (Independence Day Holiday).

Night Update (8 PM IST): War 2 has performed decently on Day 1. In Hindi, the film is expected to collect around 26-27 cr net as per early estimates. Ideally, the Day 1 Hindi collections should have been at least 35-40 cr net. Hence, the Day 1 total will remain much below the desired level. The film is doing extremely well in the Telugu version and should post a superb Day 1 total there.
Noon Update (2 PM IST): War 2 has registered a low 20-22% occupancy in the noon shows. The film’s overall occupancy for the day so far is around 18%. It needs a big growth in occupancy during the evening and night shows to put up a solid first-day total. At this moment, the film’s Day 1 collection is trending towards the ₹25-30 cr net range, based on the trend till noon. Stay tuned for more updates!
Morning Update (11 AM IST): War 2 has taken a slow start on Thursday morning shows, with an opening of around 15%, which is much below the desired level. However, advances are better for the latter half of the day, and hence, occupancy should grow. Morning trends suggest the film is targeting 25-30 cr net approx for the day. If the film shows solid growth in occupancy, collections can even go beyond the 30 cr net mark. Stay tuned for more updates!
