Night Update (11 PM IST): Taare Zameen Par has registered a superb 55-60% occupancy in the night shows today. As a result, the film’s overall occupancy for the day stands at around 38-40%. It has shown a jump of 80-85% compared to Friday.

As per early estimates, the Second Day collection is trending towards ₹19.5 crore net (±). This takes the two-day total to around ₹30 crore net (±).

The first weekend total is now trending towards the ₹47-49 crore net range, depending on the growth the film sees on Sunday.

Noon Update (1:45 PM IST): Sitaare Zameen Par is showing FABULOUS growth on Saturday! The film has registered 35% occupancy in the noon shows of Day 2, with the overall occupancy so far around 28-29%. This marks a massive jump of 90-100% compared to Friday till the same period - truly phenomenal!

As per the noon trend, SZP is now eyeing a Day 2 collection in the range of ₹18-20 cr net. Of course, the final tally will depend on evening-night performance, but a BIG growth is more or less assured at this stage. Stay tuned for more updates!

Morning Update (11 AM IST): Sitaare Zameen Par has started solidly on Day 2 morning, which is fantastic news. It seems the ground-level reports are positive. The film has registered an occupancy of around 20-25% on Saturday morning, which is significantly higher than Friday morning. This indicates that the film is all set for big growth today.
