SITAARE ZAMEEN PAR MOVIE BOX OFFICE COLLECTION DAY 1 (FRIDAY)
Night Update (8 PM IST): SZP has shown a significant jump in occupancy during the evening and night shows, pushing the Day 1 collection towards a double-digit finish. Earlier in the day, the film was trending towards ₹7-8 cr net, but the turnaround is fantastic news.
The film has registered 35-40% occupancy in the evening-night shows, while the overall occupancy for the day stands at around 20-25%. As per estimates, Sitaare Zameen Par is expected to do a ₹10 cr net (+/-) business on Day 1. Kindly note: These are early estimates and the final numbers may vary.
Noon Update (1:45 PM IST): Sitaare Zameen Par (SZP) has shown limited growth in occupancy in the noon shows. As per the latest reports, the film has registered around 15-20% occupancy in the noon, while the overall occupancy for the day so far is around 15%. The film needs a big push from the evening onwards to ensure a decent first day total. As of now, it is targeting ₹7-8 crore net approx for the day. Stay tuned for more updates!
Morning Update (11 AM IST): Sitaare Zameen Par has registered 10-15% occupancy in the morning shows on its opening day. The occupancy is decent but could have been better, considering the film is getting fewer shows than usual and also given that it’s an Aamir Khan film. Still, the film can recover ground if it shows a significant jump as the day progresses. As of now, based on the morning trend, the film is targeting ₹6-8 crore net approx for the day.
