Pathaan has shown an excellent hold on the 2nd Thursday (9th Day) at the box office as early trends are coming in. The film is reporting a small drop from the previous day and thus heading towards another big day at the ticket counters.
Pathan occupancy details for day 9 are provided below. The film is reporting an occupancy of around 20% for the day so far. When samples of Day 9 are compared with Day 8 a drop in the region of 15% is seen. In some places, the drop is less whereas in others it is slightly more.
The early trend suggests Pathaan Ninth Day Box Office Collection is heading towards a huge 15.5-16 (+/-) crore nett range. These are early estimates from limited samples and the final count for the day may vary. It means film total business at the end of the extended first week is heading towards a mammoth 364-364.5 cr NBOC.
Pathaan has emerged as the fourth all time grosser as far as Hindi films are considered. It is just behind Dangal now and should surpass it on 2nd Saturday. The film will easily go past the KGF 2 Hindi lifetime business inside the second week. Then it will be a race between Pathaan and Baahubali 2 Hindi. As there is a free third week, Pathaan has every chance of challenging and even overhauling Baahubali's 2 lifetime collections in the coming days.
