Rating Score -> 3.5/5
Pathaan is unapologetically fun. It isn’t trying to send a public service message or pass a commentary on the current state of affairs. Instead, it sets the clock back to a time when a Shah Rukh Khan film at the cinemas was a moment to rejoice. In a recent #AskSRK session, the actor revealed his unfulfilled wish. He wrote, ‘Itni shakti rahe mujh mein ki aap ke bacchon ko bhi entertain kar sakoon’ (I hope I have the strength to even entertain your kids)." If his enthusiasm and energy in Pathaan is anything to go by, then one thing is for sure - SRK is not going anywhere. This Pathaan is the perfect opening to India’s very own Spy Universe.

#Pathaan: BLOCKBUSTER. Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½ #Pathaan has it all: Star power, style, scale, songs, soul, substance and surprises… And, most importantly, #SRK, who’s back with a vengeance… Will be the first #Blockbuster of 2023. #PathaanReview

Rating Score -> 3.5/5
The YRF spy universe reunites Karan and Arjun to give you an out and out whistle moment. If you are willing to overlook the frivolity in dialogues like ‘You are pretty screwed’, Pathaan has all the ingredients of a masala potboiler — slowmo entries, iconic battle of good versus bad and most importantly a sexy-smouldering Shah Rukh Khan, who can fight the good fight on and off the screen.

4. DNA -

Rating Score -> 3.5/5
It is a formula that has seen War, Dabangg, Tiger, and Singham succeed. Pathaan takes that formula a notch higher. The film is paisa vasool in every way. A masala entertainer that Bollywood has perfected over decades and served just perfectly. Go watch it if you want to be entertained!

5. Rediff -

Rating Score -> 4/5
Between its energetic pursuits and mid-air collisions and chases in snow and dust, Pathaan cleverly connects itself to Salman Khan's Tiger and Hrithik Roshan's War, making way for YRF's ambitious spy universe. The franchise was always slick, but with Pathaan, it shows smarts too in a delightfully escapist way.

6. NDTV -

Rating Score -> 3.5/5
Shah Rukh Khan Doesn't Miss A Trick In Phenomenally Entertaining Spy Thriller. Deepika Padukone pulls off the dual act of an irrepressible femme fatale and a committed soldier with elan.

7. Indian Express -

Rating Score -> 3/5
Shah Rukh Khan and Bollywood are back with this patriotic spy thriller. Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone-starrer has finally got what’s needed in a spy thriller -- non-stop action, glamorous leads, the guy who can save the world, a high-octane set piece, and an emo line at a time.

8. Hindustan Times -

Pathaan is your true-blue commercial, masala entertainer that's not trying to send across any message or be a social commentary on the current state of affairs in the country. It's fun, non-fussy and fantastic at the same time. Go watch it for Shah Rukh Khan and you would only come back with a smile, and maybe grooving a bit. Don't miss the scene just before end credits for it's not everyday you see two superstars in a banter about their stardom.

9. Komal Nahta -

On the whole, Pathaan is a blockbuster, no questions asked. It will break plenty of records and create many new ones. It is destined to be one of the biggest Hindi hits.

10. Anupama Chopra -

With Pathaan, the emperor gets his groove back. From his electrifying introduction scene to the end sequence, in which co-writer and director Siddharth Anand tips his hat to three decades of stardom Shah Rukh commands the frame.

11. The Week -

Rating Score -> 3.5/5
Pathaan is a dishoom-dishoom joy ride between Khan and his perfectly beefed up antagonist John Abraham, that takes place in exotic locales from Spain to Russia to France to Dubai, on land, atop cars and bullet trains, in the skies and on the ice, basically everywhere and anywhere. There is no point looking for an eye-opening storyline or the most unusual narrative because the intention is not to let the narrative drive the story forward, but to let the larger-than-life magic of its lead superstars cast its spell.

12. Gulf News -

Rating Score -> 3.5/5
While some of the plot twists and actions towards the end might seem tedious and bloated, there’s a lot of fun to be had in watching Khan and his coterie do some unbelievable stunts on earth, sky, water, and everything in between. Abraham also made for a good, nasty and disillusioned villain. He had some of the best lines and he carries it off with aplomb. His fifty shades of smirks and grey needs another movie.

13. The Hindu -

Shah Rukh Khan shines in this spectacle sans secrets. Marked by Deepika Padukone’s eye-catching performance and John Abraham’s stylish presence, ‘Pathaan’ is a sincere crowd-pleaser.

14. India TV -

Rating Score -> 3.5/5
Shah Rukh Khan nails his comeback with a spectacular performance. Shah Rukh Khan again proved to be the ultimate King of Bollywood with his out-of-the-box action-packed film, also starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.
