Cirkus crashed badly on Monday (4th day) as early trends are coming in. The drop was inevitable as the weekend trend was horrible. But we were expecting a drop of less than 50% as Friday collections were poor. But it is not a drop is more than 50%.
Cirkus occupancy details for day 4 are given below. When samples of Day 4 are compared to Day 1 a drop of around 55% is seen. This is colossal. The sad part is such a drop is coming after a poor Friday. The film will now struggle to even touch 50 crore nett in India. It's an absolute shocker.
The early trend suggests Cirkus Fourth Day Box Office Collection is heading towards 2.75 (+/-) crore nett approx. These are early estimates from limited samples and the final count for the day may vary. If the film shows a bigger drop in interiors then box office numbers could come even lower.
Cirkus total business at the end of day 4 is heading towards an extremely poor 23.5 (+/-) crore nett range. If film registers further drop then even 40 crore nett business in India will be a hard task despite the New Year period still to come. Colossal Disaster!
