Avatar 2 has taken a steady start on the 2nd Tuesday (12th day) morning shows. The film is reporting a minimal drop from the previous day and it looks like the film is heading towards another historic day at the box office.
Avatar: The Way Of Water opens to 13-15% occupancy in the morning shows of day 12. For the same, day 11 opening was 17-18%. It means an occupancy drop of 15-20% approx is seen when only morning shows are considered.
Avatar 2 collected a huge 261.75 crore nett approx at the end of day 11. The film is targeting to go past the 270 crore nett mark by the end of day 12. Avatar 2 should go close to or even touch the 290 crore NBOC mark by the end of the second week. The film is now eyeing 350 crore nett business in India. If the film shows its strong box office performance in the coming days then it can go beyond the 350 cr NBOC mark and challenge the lifetime box office record of Avengers: Endgame in India.
