Drishyam 2 had an outstanding hold on the 2nd Friday (8th day) as the film reported a less than 10% drop from the 1st Thursday. This is after film screens are reduced and faced competition with the new release Bhediya. The film is bound to see a big jump on the 2nd Saturday and 2nd Sunday and is all set to rock the box office again.
Drishyam 2 collected 7.85 crore nett approx on day 8. The drop from the previous day is around 8-9%. Any drop of 40% or less on the 2nd Friday is touted as good. Here it is much less than that. Thus, the film's total business currently stands at the 112.5 crore nett range.
Drishyam 2 is eyeing to go close to the 125 crore nett mark by the end of 2nd Saturday. 2nd Saturday might see a jump of 40-50% or even more. The film is eyeing 33-34 crore nett for the second weekend. If the film shows a huge jump on Saturday and Sunday then it can even touch 35 crore nett for the weekend or even more. This is simply extraordinary stuff!
