Drishyam 2 had an outstanding hold on 1st Monday (4th day) as the film reported a nominal drop of 20-25% from 1st Friday. Occupancy drop was even less as ticket prices were lower on Monday. This is simply mind-boggling stuff!
Drishyam 2 collected a fabulous 11.85 crore nett approx on day 4. Thus, the film's total business currently stands at the 76 crore nett mark. It is now racing towards the 100 crore nett mark and should touch that by the end of the first week itself.
Drishyam 2 is looking simply unstoppable right now. The film lifetime business can go anywhere now. It should touch 150 cr NBOC at least. 200 cr NBOC is also a possibility. The sky is the limit! The film will attain Hit status by the end of day 5 itself. Super Hit status is also almost confirmed unless the film sees a big drop from here on. We will get a further clear picture on the lifetime business once 2nd Friday (day 8) box office results are out.
