Drishyam 2 has taken a solid start again in the morning shows of day 8 (2nd Friday). It means after a rollicking first week, the film is all set to rule the box office in the second week also. This is simply fantastic.
Drishyam 2 has opened to 14-15% on the morning shows of day 8. For the same, day 7 opening was 15%. It means there is hardly any occupancy drop is seen. However, screens are reduced a bit because of the release of Bhediya, and hence business drop will be more than the occupancy drop.
Drishyam 2 will pick up the pace from evening onwards as the weekend is approaching. Don't be surprised if the film's 2nd Friday box office numbers compete with the 1st Thursday by the end of the day. The film has already entered the 100 crore club and today's business will determine where it is heading in the long run.
