Vikram Vedha had an average first weekend at the box office. The film did show a decent trend through the weekend as it showed a jump on both Saturday and Sunday. But the main problem is the start film got on Friday which is low and below average.
Vikram Vedha collected 15 crore nett approx on Sunday (day 3). The film showed a decent jump on Sunday from Saturday. However, a bigger jump would have been better as Saturday box office numbers were strictly average.
Vikram Vedha's total collection at the end of the opening weekend is 38 crore nett approx. The film has fallen short of a par score by 10-12 crores approx. Hence, it is important that the film shows a good hold on Monday (day 4) and then remain strong through the weekdays with a possible boost in the business on Wednesday which is a holiday because of Dussehra.
In an ideal world, Vikram Vedha needed to touch 100 crore nett or go past that. But looking at the opening weekend business it is looking tough right now. We will have some idea on the lifetime business by the end of 1st Monday.
