Vikram Vedha First Week Box Office Collection, It's Below Par

Vikram Vedha had a low first week at the box office. The film did show a significant drop on Thursday (day 7) and that was on the expected lines as it was post-Dussehra day.

Vikram Vedha collected 3.25 crore nett approx on day 7. Thus, film's first week collection is 58.65 crore nett approx. It is much below the par level and in an ideal world film needed to collect in around 70-75 crore nett approx. It means film has fallen short of a par score by 12 crores at least at the end of week one.

Vikram Vedha still got a chance to do some good business in the second week as there is hardly any opposition. Brahmastra is in the last phase of its run at the box office and the new releases have literally no face value. It means film might see good occupancy on 2nd Saturday and 2nd Sunday. But that is simply not enough and because of this reason it is important that film lands very strongly on 2nd Friday. Again in an ideal case, 2nd Friday business should be similar to 1st Thursday.

Collection Breakup -

Friday - 10 crore nett

Saturday - 12.8 crore nett

Sunday - 14.3 crore nett

Monday - 5.3 crore nett

Tuesday - 5.7 crore nett

Wednesday - 7.3 crore nett

Thursday - 3.25 crore nett approx

Total - 58.65 crore nett approx

  2. Max 15cr weekend (3 + 5 + 7) for 74 nett
85-90 finish. Less than low-budget Kaabil.
At least it's not in the 60cr range like Lal Singh and Prithviraj, or even lower like Bell Bottom, Raksha Bandhan, Bacchan Pandey, Shamshera.
