Thank God had a strictly decent first day at the box office. The actuals have come lower than the early estimates reported yesterday and that is mainly due to low performance in the interiors. The film has just collected decent and needs a good trend from here on.
Thank God collected 8 crore nett approx on day one. This is just ok and ideally, the film needed to touch a double-digit score for the day. However, when we see that film has clashed with Ram Setu and also see how the other releases performed at the box office post-pandemic, numbers look respectable.
Thank God registered an occupancy of 35-40% for Tuesday. Occupancy is decent again and could have been better considering it was the post-Diwali day.
Thank God now needs to sustain well from here on till Friday. If the film manages that then it will see a good jump on Saturday and Sunday. And that will take the film's extended first weekend total to a respectable number.
