Ram Setu did well on day one (Tuesday) at the box office. Although the film started slowly in the morning, showed good progress through the day. The film also got benefited from post-Diwali day which boosted the box office business further.
Ram Setu collected 15.25 crore nett approx on 1st day. Box office numbers are good, but could have been easily better. Still, considering that the film clashed with Thank God, numbers look respectable.
Ram Setu registered an occupancy of 40-45% for Tuesday. Occupancy was low till the first half of the day but because of the huge boost in the second half reached a good level.
Ram Setu should hold well on Wednesday (day 2) as film generally trends better post-Diwali for a few days. Hence, the drop from the first day should be in an acceptable range. The film needs to sustain well till Friday so that it can further go up on Saturday and Sunday.
