Thank God has performed poorly in the extended first weekend at the box office. Although the film started day 1 on a decent note has struggled after that. The film registered a drop with each passing day. The jump was seen on Saturday and Sunday but that was limited.
Thank God added 4 crore nett approx on day 6. Thus, the film's total business currently stands at 29.25 crore nett approx. Honestly, the film needed to collect in excess of 40 crore nett by the end of the 1st Sunday. It means the film is already short of a par score by 10-11 crores approx. It may be more also.
Thank God's aim is now to recover as much as ground possible. Firstly, it needs a super strong Monday. Any significant drop and it is all over for the film. Secondly, after a solid Monday, it needs to trend excellent for the rest of the weekdays. Once, Monday's results are out we will have a pretty clear picture regarding its lifetime business.
