Brahmastra has shown a strong jump on Saturday (2nd day) and thus performed exceedingly well at the box office again. The film is now on track to zoom past the 100 cr NBOC mark in the first weekend itself.
Brahmashtra collected 37 cr NBOC on Saturday at the box office from the Hindi version alone. All language business for the second day was around 41 cr NBOC. Thus, film total business from Hindi version stands at 68.75 cr nett approx. Business from all languages at the end of day 2 stands at 77.25 cr nett approx.
Brahmastra's first weekend collection from the Hindi version is heading towards the 110 cr nett mark. All language businesses should touch the 120 cr nett mark which will be an outstanding feat considering all factors. There is no doubt that Brahmastra is competing with the pre-pandemic big releases now.
It is also clear that audiences are ready to come to watch films in theatres if there is something exciting for them. So, all bullshit like boycotts and post-pandemic reasons goes out of the window now. If there is something exciting and interesting for the audience then they will definitely watch it on the big screen. Period!
