Brahmastra First Day Box Office Collection, Hits the Ball Out of Park

Brahmastra hit the ball out of the park on day one (Friday) at the box office. The film has started well and now looking to cash in on Saturday and Sunday to put up a huge opening weekend. A 100 cr NBOC is almost a certainty unless film drops on Saturday.

Brahmashtra collected 32 cr NBOC approx from the Hindi version alone. The film added another 4.5 crores approx from the other languages. The total collection from India is a whopping 36.5 cr NBOC which is a very good result for day 1.

The film reported a good 45% occupancy for day one on a huge 5000 plus screens. The film started with 30-35% occupancy in the morning shows but gained momentum with each passing shows and night shows reported an excellent 65% occupancy.

Brahmastra has started the Second Day on a bigger and positive note. The film has every chance of touching 35 cr NBOC from Hindi alone. Still it is early days as we will have a clear idea by the end of the day. It means two day total is set to be in excess of 65 cr nett. Again it means film's first weekend should in excess of 105 cr NBOC considering it will show further jump on Sunday (day 3).

Happy days are back for Bollywood and film industry as a whole. The film has taken a big opening at the box office. Now it is all up to the content of the film and also about a recovery. As Brahmastra is made in a colossal budget of 400 crores approx, film needs a big theatrical return from India. For that film needs to sustain well from 1st Monday onwards. Again these are early days and let's concentrate on the weekend.

  1. 36.5cr is not enough for a 400cr budget movie.
To stand any chance of reaching it's budget from Indian collection, 1st day should have been nearer 45cr.
