Raksha Bandhan Monday (5th Day) Collection Early Estimates, Low Again

Raksha Bandhan is performing poorly at the box office on Independence Day across the whole of India. The film has failed to take the benefit of the National Holiday and recorded low occupancy. Only some parts of UP and Bihar and a little bit of Delhi are the saviours. Rest nothing really to talk about.

Rakshan Bandhan occupancy details for day 5 are given below. When samples are compared with day 4 then a drop of around 10% is seen. In some places drop is higher whereas in others drop is lower.

Occupancy Report for Monday (Samples only) -

Morning - 15-20%

Noon - 28-30%

Evening-Night - 23-25%

The early trend suggests Raksha Bandhan Fifth Day Box Office Collection is heading towards the 6-6.5 (+/-) crore nett range. These are early estimates and the final count for the day may vary.

Thus, Raksha Bandhan's five days of the extended first weekend total is heading towards a very poor 34.5 (+/-) crore nett range. Numbers are absolutely shocking as the film enjoyed an extended holiday weekend courtesy of Raksha Bandhan festive time and Independence Day.

  1. I don't know what's wrong with people's sensibility if Rakhsha Bandhan is not fairing well then just imagine where our society is moving, people are becoming more and more self centred with no emotions and no family values.Even the Prime minister had to talk about respect for women.Today people don't hesitate to use the choicest of expletive mainly targeting women.Grow up my fellow countrymen and show some respect for Raksha Bandhan
