Raksha Bandhan Day 4 (Sunday) Collection Update for Morning Shows

Raksha Bandhan is seeing a better occupancy in Sunday (4th day) morning shows as early samples for the day are coming in. This is somewhat good news but again collections are still at a lower level and film needs a huge growth in the noon and afternoon shows of today.

Raksha Bandhan has opened to 20% occupancy in the morning shows today. For the same, Saturday occupancy for morning shows was around 15%. It means a 35% growth is seen when only morning shows are taken into consideration.

Generally, a 35% growth is touted as good but in the case of Raksha Bandhan, it is not as the film underperformed big time on Saturday. In fact, Saturday collections remained flat with marginal growth seen in some places. Still there is some growth and hopefully film will see further good progress in the day time of Sunday.

Raksha Bandhan collected a very poor 21 crore nett approx in the first three days. Ideally, first three days business should have been 31-32 crores approx. It means film has fallen short of a par score by 10 crores at least if not more. With Sunday and Monday still to come film has enough time and potential to recover the lost ground. The question is will it?
