Karthikeya 2 Hindi had a solid third weekend at the box office. Despite an important cricket match between India and Pakistan, the film managed to collect as much as Saturday and even a bit more in some parts of India.
Karthikeya 2 collected 1.8 crore nett approx on day 16. The total business at the end of the third weekend is 23.3 crore nett approx. The film is now racing towards the 25 crore nett mark.
As film underperformed on Sunday mainly due to the cricket match. There is a possibility that the film might see a better hold on the third weekdays. Because of the good trend, the film has now every chance of touching or even going past 30 crore nett in India. The film should emerge as a HIT in Hindi version by the end of week three.
