Shamshera registered a colossal drop of 70% on Monday (Day 4) at the box office. Actuals have come much lower than the estimates and that is mainly due to two reasons. Many shows got cancelled and night shows hardly reported any noticeable occupancy.
Shamshera collected a paltry 3 crore nett approx on the 4th day. Thus, film total business at the end of day 4 stands at a very poor 34.75 crore nett approx. The way film is now trending it will just sneak past the 40 crore nett mark by the end of the first week.
With new releases coming next week, there is a big possibility that Shamshera may wrap up its lifetime business in India under the 50 crore nett mark. Absolutely shocking! Monday business of Shamshera has sent a shockwave across the industry. There are simply no words to explain such a low business. Yes, Shamshera is getting extreme reactions from various public but to have a 70% fall and that also after a poor Friday is simply unexplainable.
