Overall Word of Mouth (Critics) - Mixed!

1. News 18 -

Rating Score -> 3.5/5
Good Luck Jerry is chaotic and fun, bringing back memories of simple comedies such as Hungama and Tanu Weds Manu. I did wish this was a theatrical release. Janhvi has grown as an actor and it is evident in Good Luck Jerry. She manages to hold on to the Bihari accent throughout the movie, though a hint of Janhvi’s real self began appearing towards the climax. Having been thrown out of her comfort zone, Janhvi adapts to the new character and style of storytelling with ease.

2. Times of India -

Rating Score -> 3.5/5
Good Luck Jerry is a hilarious and entertaining fare that would have been perfect if it were a tad shorter.

All in all, Good Luck Jerry is an okay-ish watch. If you have been questioning Janhvi Kapoor’s acting chops, this film might just reinstate your faith in her, just by an inch. If not, there’s always a Deepak and a Sushant to make do. If you know, you know.

Rating Score -> 2.5/5
This delightful Janhvi Kapoor film commits to its loopiness. Despite a few slack patches, this Janhvi Kapoor-starrer never loses sight of the fact that it needs to be a caper.

Rating Score -> 2/5
And as commendable her confidence is, Janhvi's metamorphosis from bechari to bold is slight. She exudes a nervous energy that made me think of Urmila Matondkar (a perfect fit for Jerry's part) but lacks the cunning to pull it off.

6. The Week -

Rating Score -> 2/5
An amusing comedy-crime bundle was packed into this 120-minute movie by the director Siddharth Sengupta and the writer Pankaj Matta. Jhanvi gave an organic performance and was clearly absorbed in the role. It was a delight to watch Dobriyal since he totally nailed his role. The humour was further enhanced by the appearances of Sahil Mehta, Mita Vashisht, and Neeraj Sood.

On the whole, Goodluck Jerry is an ordinary fare with a unidimensional story. It will, therefore, not meet with great response from the public.
