Ek Villain Returns had a decent second day (Saturday) at the box office. The film reported a marginal jump on day 2. The film did pick up in plexes but reported a drop in single screens. That is ok considering the film did pretty well in SS on Friday.
Ek Villain Returns collected 7.5 crore nett approx on 2nd Day. Thus, the film's two day collection currently stands at 14.5 crore nett approx. Film's first weekend total is heading towards the 23 (+/-) crore nett range. That is not a bad score at all if the film manages to hold well on Monday.
Ek Villain Returns is attracting a good number of youth audiences to the theatres. Family audiences are coming but in limited numbers. Hence a big jump on Sunday (3rd day) may be missing. Still, a 10-15% growth can be expected.

If Ek Villain is a success then people will lose trust in collections too like in critics, which are mostly paid.
ReplyDeletePeople are cheering about the collection of 24cr weekend for this. 8 years back the first part dis that in 1,5 days. So, what film industry are cheering for? Except 2 fab songs Dil and Shaamat movie is forgettable and will be too...doesn't matter if industry will do it a hit or not
The cheering is that this movie didn’t flop as badly as Anek, Jersey, Jayeshbhai, Runway 34, Attack, Dhaakad, Shamshera, Prithviraj, Bachchan Pandey etc.
