Samrat Prithviraj is the biggest release of this week and this film is easily leading the screen count fight from the other new releases and other holdover releases. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is into week three and despite that film has got a decent screening for the week. Major and Vikram Hindi version has also got significant release this week.
Coming to Samrat Prithviraj first. The film has managed a good screen count of 3500 approx in the Hindi version. When all languages are considered then the screen count is around 3700. This is more than enough to strike big at the box office. Even a decent occupancy will take the score into the double-digit zone. However, as the film is riding on a big-budget ideally needs an opening of close to 20 crore nett or even more.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has managed to retain 1300-1400 screens for the third week running. The film is rocking big time at the box office and it is looking like the story will be the same for the third week despite facing stiff opposition in Samrat Prithviraj.
Major Hindi version has managed a screening of around 1000 across India. That is a good number and if the film manages decent to good occupancy should score very well. Vikram Hindi version has managed a screening of around 600-700 approx across India.
