Samrat Prithviraj's box office performance keeps getting worse with each passing day. The story is the same for the 2nd Friday (8th day) also as the film has reported a big drop. Thus, officially game is over and it is all about collecting as much as possible to salvage some pride.
Prithviraj collected an extremely poor 1.65 crore nett approx on day 8. Thus, the film total currently stands at 56.7 crore nett approx. A significant drop on the 8th day means the film lifetime collection will wrap up at around 70 crore nett mark.
It means film lifetime distributor share will be around 34-36 crores approx. That is extremely poor. The film has emerged as a big flop and the only question remain is whether it will emerge as a big flop or a disaster in the final count. Akshay Kumar has delivered two back-to-back big flops in Bachchhan Paandey and Samrat Prithviraj and he needs to pull up his socks.
