One cannot latch onto the original for too long though as anything that refuses to adapt or evolve risks extinction. Jurassic World: Dominion has its moments but they are few and far between. Revisit the first film instead.

A stodgy, too-constructed affair that makes your teeth ache. No effort has been spared in making this one’s canvas bigger, but that doesn’t make the film necessarily better. We are even reunited with the OG trio, Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum.

you’ll anyways watch the film if you like Jurassic World, despite all red flags and warnings! However, if you are in two minds, spare yourself, and please skip. Or maybe go to learn how a wafer thin plot has the capacity to ruin a film with the potential to be good.

It is delightful visually but still lacks the depth this story could have had. The film does indicate that the studio is trying to set up a larger Jurassic World universe that we may see in subsequent films or shows. I just hope they are done better than this. Because this franchise needs a better conclusion.

Rating Score -> 2/5
Jurassic World Dominion marks a disappointingly tepid end to a series of films that definitely deserved better. None of the sequels ever replicated the cinematic wonder that was Jurassic Park. The law of diminishing returns had kicked in way before Jurassic World Dominion was conceived. This film does nothing to arrest, let alone reverse, the slide.

Rating Score -> 2.5/5
Most of time Jurassic World Dominion disregards that it is supposed to entertain us during these hot summer days. It is full of coincidences, convenient solutions and illogical jumps in the script.

The concluding film in the ‘Jurassic World’ trilogy packs in enough thrills and references to the original, also bringing Sam Neil back into the Jurassic universe
