Raksha Bandhan Trailer Review

"Sometimes being a brother is even better than being a superhero". This tagline is enough to create a stir at the box office. Yes, the Raksha Bandhan trailer is fantastic and there is no doubt that the film will take a very good opening at the ticket counters. After that, it is all up to the content to take it forward.

Now coming to Raksha Bandhan Trailer Review. Raksha Bandhan is all about brother-sister bonding and this theme is simple enough to pull family audiences to the theatres nearby. What's more, the film is releasing on the Raksha Bandhan 2022 date (11th August 2022) and that will also spice up things.

The story of Raksha Bandhan revolves around the love, bonding, and attachment between brother-sister. It is about how an elder brother gives his all to arrange dowry for his sisters for their marriage. The dowry system is still highly prevalent in the Hindi heartland of India. Whenever a film strikes its chord with the heartland audiences, that film has created history at the box office.

Yes, Raksha Bandhan is competing with another biggie in Laal Singh Chaddha starring none other than Aamir Khan. But when content is right and is made with heart and emotion it will be simply unstoppable at the box office. Never ever underestimate a film that is rooted in Indian soil.

Apart from Akshay Kumar and the storyline of the film, the other plusses for the film are, that the direction is helmed by talented Aanand L Rai who has earlier delivered smash hits in Tanu Weds Manu Series and Raanjhana. He is definitely back with Raksha Bandhan if the trailer is the early sign. The trailer also suggests that loads of doses of comedy are also embedded in the film apart from the emotional core.

The music of the film is helmed by super talented Himesh Reshammiya and there is no doubt that at least 2-3 good scores will be there in the film.

Overall Raksha Bandhan looks like a winner as far as the trailer goes and we give it a four star rating. If the film is anywhere near the trailer it will easily score 125-150 crore nett business at the box office despite clashing with Laal Singh Chaddha.

Rating⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Box Office Potential - 125-150 cr NBOC (because of clash with Laal Singh Chaddha)

Verdict - Should be a Clean HIT or Super HIT!

Yeh Picture HIT hai Boss and finally Akshay Kumar is back with a BANGGG!

  2. Akshay taking 150 crore than the director taking 20 to 15 crore this movie already cost 170 to 165 crore even before the production starts on the ground. Such a big budgeted movie but has such a used and baasi concept baffles me. This concept had been used in not only so many movies but daily in daily soaps as well. It wouldn't had been bad if it was a 30 crore budgeted movie but a movie that going cost like 200 crore is a really really hard pill to swallow.

    2. Raksha Bandhan is another big time disaster of Akshay Kumar after Prithviraj, Bachchan Pandey, Atrangi Re, Bell Bottom and another disaster for Aanand L Rai after Zero. Akshay is finished. Laal Singh Chaddha will cross 300 crores

    3. seems that the trailer of Aamir Khan’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ has caught the imagination of social media, but for the wrong reasons. Viewers could not help but notice that while playing the protagonist in this ‘Forrest Gump’ remake, the actor has the same expression on his face which was seen in his previous movies like PK and Dhoom 3. Soon, memes started flying around about how Aamir Khan is playing different characters using the same expression. Here are a few tweets from tweeple about the trailer:

  3. My dear haters its a very good family movie much better than copycats of hollywood and south cinema which are full of violence and unnecessary machoism. I feel this movie will touch the hearts of the people and will be a superhit.
