Jersey is the big release of this week starring Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur. Despite being a significant release from Bollywood, it fails to match KGF 2 screen count for 22nd April 2022 despite KGF 2 being into its second week. Take that!
KGF 2 has retained 3200-3300 screens for the second week running. The film has retained almost 65% of the screens from the first week which is excellent news. There is no doubt that KGF 2 will again rock at the box office in the coming days. The film is nearing 300 crore nett in India and will touch it most probably by the end of the second weekend.
Jersey has got a decent screening of 2000-2100 screens across India. Screens are a bit less than expected because of the obvious reason that KGF 2 is running well in the theatres. The film can still score well at the box office if registers decent to good occupancy. Will it? We will have a clear picture by the end of the day. RRR screenings are heavily reduced further and have limited showings across India now.
