RRR First Day Collection Estimates, Very Good Start

RRR Hindi version has taken a very good start at the box office on opening Friday (1st day) as early trends for the day are coming in. Film has reported a big jump from evening onwards.

RRR opened with 30-32% occupancy in the morning today. The film did pick up its pace in noon and reported 35-40% occupancy. The film has shown huge growth from evening onward and as per the latest registering 60-65% occupancy. This is terrific!

Although RRR Hindi advance booking was just average, the spot booking was excellent. It was in fact best in recent times. Advance booking for the day suggested that film may touch double-digit for the day or at most 12-13 crores. But excellent spot booking has ensured that film will now go past 15 crore nett mark in India. In fact, if the film performs well in interiors then it can even challenge 20 crore nett for the day.

The early trend suggests RRR First Day Collection is heading towards a super solid 17-18 crore nett range. These are early estimates. A large pool of data from interiors are awaited and also night shows reports are awaited. Hence, the final count for the day may vary.

    2. Actually that China collection was nothing but a covert Hawala payout since the Govt had banned several NGOs under FCRA. Otherwise, nobody in India bothered to watch that Secret Superstar & we are made to believe that Chinese lapped that piece of crap!!!
