Bachchhan Paandey Registers Huge Drop on Monday (Day 4), It's Lights Out

Bachchhan Paandey game at the box office looks completely over as the film has reported a huge drop. Occupancy all through the day is low and collections are really shocking. The film did poorly in the opening weekend but the story is further gloom on Monday (day 4).

The sad part is that film is carrying big-budget and promoted on a very large scale. Plus it is released on Holi festive time. Yes, makers will recover a good chunk of money through non-theatrical revenues. But again it is a big loss for distributors and exhibitors. The worst part is that RRR is releasing next week and it will eat most of the screens of Bachchhan Paandey.

Yes, to some extent Bachchhan Paandey box office performance in the first weekend was adversely affected by The Kashmir Files storm. but there is no excuse and explanation for the dismal Monday performance. There are enough screens still left for BP to score well. In fact, if demand is more and supply is less then film tends to do well on Monday and the rest of weekdays. That is not the case for Bachchhan Paandey.

Bachchhan Paandey occupancy details for 1st Monday (4th day) is given below. When Monday samples are compared with Friday, the film is reporting a drop in the region of 65% which is huge. The early trend suggests Bachchhan Paandey Fourth Day business is heading towards a very poor 4.5 (+/-) crore nett approx. These are estimates and the final count for the day may vary.

Bachchhan Paandey Occupancy Report for Monday (Samples only) -

Morning - 18-19%

Noon - 20-25%

Evening-Night - 25-30%
