83 had a poor fourth week at the box office. Drop from the previous week is again significant. Thus the film is now going at a snail speed and collections are set to come down further in the coming days. It is only getting a free run as there are no other new releases left.
83 collected 1.6 crore net approx in week four. Thus, the film's total collection currently stands at 103.4 crore net approx. The film lifetime collection is trending towards a 105 crore net finish.
83 is an outright flop at the box office. Yes, the film has underperformed but the main reason for flop is that it is made on a hefty budget. Had the film been made on a controlled budget then the business of the film would have looked much better.
