83 had a decent Second Friday (Day 8) at the box office. It has come as some sort of relief as had there been a significant drop then it was all over for the film. Film at least now has some chance to put up decent box office numbers. Although business so far is still below the mark.
83 has collected 4.35 crore net approx on day 8. That means a drop of 15-20% is seen from the 1st Thursday. In general cases, it would have been a fantastic hold. But as the film under-performed in the first week, 83 needed a jump, not a drop.
83 total collection currently stands at 76.2 crore net approx. The film is now on track to touch 100 crore net in India. It should be achieved by the end of the second week or by the third weekend if cinema halls remain open. However, it may not collect much after that.
