Satyameva Jayate 2 is the new release of the week and it has got very good screens all across India. In fact, the film screen count for 25 November 2021 is 2500. This is fantastic. In addition, the film is also released on 1000 screens overseas. It means Satyameva Jayate 2 is released on 3500 screens worldwide.
Now coming to Satyameva Jayate 2 First Day (Thursday) opening at the box office. The film has opened to 8-10% occupancy in the morning shows today. Samples are from multiplexes only. Single screens are not yet started and opening there should be better.
Occupancy in metros and big cities is a bit lower whereas the film has opened slightly better in B and C centers. Advance booking of the film is low and spot booking is better. When we see the early trends, film should ride on the power of single screens. It caters mainly to single-screen audiences and we expect occupancy better there.
Satyameva Jayate 2 is definitely eyeing a double-digit start at the box office today in an ideal case scenario. Even if the film fails to touch the double-digit mark, it should go close. Anything less than that will be a disappointment considering the first installment was a major hit.
It means a minimum of 8-9 crore net will be a decent start. Anything less than 7-8 crore will be a bit shocking. Anything above 10 crore net will be a fantastic start to the box office campaign.
As the weekend is approaching we expect the film to do better business on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. But again from day two onward word of mouth will start to take effect. Hence, we hope film ground-level word of mouth is decent to good.
