Antim: The final Truth is all set to release on 26 November 2021 that is tomorrow. A film with Aayush Sharma in a lead role is not much of a talk for the film fraternity and exhibition sector. A 2-3 crore opening and a lifetime collection of 20-30 crores would have been a case in a normal scenario. A screen count of 700-800 screens would have been enough. But all things change when the Salman Khan factor comes into it.
Antim is not only produced by Salman Khan but also he is having a full-fledged role. One can call it an extended cameo or even a second lead or even a principal character. Earlier there was talk of him having a 30-40 min appearance which is now extended to a 50 min or even 1-hour role. Makers are promoting the film as Salman Khan film. But again there is a lot of awareness and we will see whether Salman's die-hard fans come to theaters or not.
With Salman Khan's factor, the box office scenario of Antim is totally changed. It has become a noticeable significant film. Antim is now all set to get around 2000 screens or maybe more. Which was unthinkable for a film starring Ayush. Not only that Antim might take a good opening also. Don't be surprised if the film scores in excess of the double-digit mark on either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday or on more than a single day.
Trade expects Antim to collect around 25-30 crore net in the first weekend. It could go higher also if the Salman Khan factor is taken into account and the content is on the positive side. That means the film might be in profits by the end of the first week or even by the second weekend as it is made on a very controlled budget.
Advance booking of Antim has just started. Still screen allocation is going on. Makers might be eyeing 1800-2000 screens for the film. Because of the Salman Khan factor, it may get more. We will know the exact screen count by the end of the day. Advance booking is slow so far but again it may pick up today.
