Laxmmi Bomb, Bhuj - The Pride of India, Dil Bechara and Few more Movies all Set to Release on Disney Plus Hotstar

Disney + Hotstar is all set for some big announcement on 29 June 2020 that is today and with much fanfare. Varun Dhawan is all set to host a show where around 7-8 films official announcements will be made. Among them, most sought after releases are Laxmmi Bomb, Bhuj - The Pride of India, and Dil Bechara. Apart from these films, there is a possibility of the announcement of The Big Bull, Sadak 2, and few more small scale films such as Khuda Hafeez and Lootcase.

All these mentioned films will directly release on OTT platform Disney + Hotstar.

We have already mentioned that the deal of Laxmmi Bomb starring Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani was locked a long time back. It was only wait and watch situation for both the parties. Laxmmi Bomb is one of the most anticipated films of the year and was all set for theatrical release on EID 2020. But all plans went haywire with the current coronavirus pandemic.

Bhuj - The Pride of India another big release of the year starring Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi is also set to directly premiere on Disney+ now. This film was slated for release on Independence Day Weekend.

Apart from these two biggies, Dil Bechara starring Sushant Singh Rajput has become a hot property now. Already official announcement on Dil Bechara is made and it will be free for all whether they are a subscriber or non-subscriber of Disney+ Hotstar or not.

Sadak 2 and The Big Bull are other biggies that will directly premiere on the digital medium now. Official announcement and release date will all be mentioned tomorrow.

Yes, it is good news for all movie lovers as they will have something fresh to look for on the OTT platform. However, it is extremely bad news for the exhibition and distribution sector. God knows how they will cope up with this news once the official announcement is made.
