Thappad goes steady at the box office on 1st Wednesday (day 6). The film reported a minimal drop of 10% or so from Tuesday. Generally, this drop is very much acceptable and thus it is heading towards a decent first week total now. It all depends on crucial 2nd Friday and if the film holds well then it may emerge as an average fare at least.
Thappad has collected 2 crore net approx on day 6. Film total business thus stands at 21.1 crore net approx. The film's first-week business is trending towards 22.75-23 crore net range.
Thappad has a chance of crossing 30 crore net in India now. It can even challenge for 35 crore net in India. But there is Baaghi 3 releasing this Friday which will snatch most of the screens. Let's hope that Thappad survives the Baaghi 3 scare this Friday.
