Thappad is going steady at the box office weekdays. The film reported a minimal drop on Tuesday (day 5). The film needs to maintain this trend for the rest of the weekdays and need to land strong on 2nd Friday.
Thappad has collected 2.2 crore net approx on day 5. Film total business thus stands at 19.1 crore net approx. The film first-week business is heading towards 22.5-23 crore net range which will be a decent total.
The problem for Thappad is that despite trending well, it will face stiff opposition in Baaghi 3 this Friday onward. Hence, it need to lands strong on 2nd Friday and need to put up a decent second week total. Ideally, it needs to touch or cross 35 crore net in India to enter the safe zone.
