Bhoot - Part One: The Haunted Ship had a decent start to the box office campaign. The film also got benefitted from Maha Shivratri's partial holiday. Considering that business could have been a little better. Still start is not that bad if film shows good growth on Saturday and Sunday.
Bhoot has collected 5.1 crore net approx on day one. A 6-7 crore net would have been a good start considering the partial holiday. However, if the film manages to show a jump in excess of 25-30% for Saturday then a decent to good first weekend is definitely on cards.
A 20 crore net for the weekend is a must from here on. Anything below that will be a disappointment. Anything above will be good. Saturday will give us an idea of the film trending and real word of mouth will be known by the end of the 1st Monday.
Bhoot has received poor feedback from the critics. But again critics reports are of no use. It is all about audience report. Audience feedback is better than critic's reports and we hope that transforms into box office business.
