‘Street Dancer 3D’ does have a strong message to send across to its audience – that of love in the face of adversity, compassion towards those we know and those we don’t, and stresses upon the importance of friendship over personal gains – but fails to stitch it together with an organised cinematic fabric. If not for the story, watch it for the dance moves. And, get ready to groove and move!

Street Dancer 3D is purely for those who love to see some splendid dance moves on the big screen, when the small-screen appeal of Dance India Dance and Super Dancer isn't enough. Or if you are the die-hard fans of its good-looking lead stars.

Rating Score -> 3.5/5
In the end Street Dancer is a treat for those who love dance movies. And whatever faults it may have in terms of cliched plotlines and melodramatic moments, it more than makes up for it with a host of talented dancers who'd make you wish you could dance even half as well as them!

5. India TV -

Rating Score -> 2/5
It was a pleasant surprise to come through an emotional story in a film that heavily relies on dance and stardom. All I would say is the least you expect, the better you will feel.  Street Dancer 3D delivers what it promises- beautiful dance sequences and entertainment. A good watch for kids though. Or, you can also what for its release on the streaming platform.

6. India Today -

Rating Score -> 2/5
Street Dancer 3D is enjoyable if you like dance to the extent of watching it for two hours non-stop. There are some emotional moments which may make you cry. But if you are going to watch it solely for the performances of the lead actors - Varun and Shraddha - then skip at ease.

7. Bollywood Bubble -

Rating Score -> 2.5/5
Talking about Varun and Shraddha’s dance, throughout the movie Varun seemed to overpower her most of the time. The story was a bit dragged and it fell short of that X-factor even though there was so much going on.

Rating Score -> 2/5
But this is no Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, and Remo D’Souza is not a patch on Mansoor Khan. Evidently, Street Dancer 3D is not for those who prefer to carry their brains and other organs to the screen. It’s a flimsy vehicle to promote its
trippy dance numbers, disguised as a conflicted story about the deplorable state of illegal immigrants in the UK.

9. Gulf News -

Rating Score -> 2/5
Dhawan and Kapoor becoming dance champions to be saviours of undocumented immigrants is almost laughable. A few songs, with complicated dance moves, are intriguing, especially while watching it on a 3D screen, but the story and narrative have two left feet. Watch this only if you have blind faith in Dhawan and Kapoor and they are beyond reproach in your eyes. Otherwise, hop, skip and jump over this film.

On the whole, Street Dancer 3D is a box-office hit. It has superb dances, India-Pakistan and other emotions, 3D and a layered story to keep the audience thoroughly entertained.

Street Dancer 3D is a master-class in all the incredible things the human body can do. For the running time of this film – two hours and twenty-four minutes – people are pirouetting, leaping, flipping, contorting and moving their limbs in impossible ways. Watching them, I thought – if the script was half as nimble as these gifted people, this film would have been a smash. Sadly, that is not the case.

Rating Score -> 2/5
The big dance numbers are electric, but the plot is all over the place in Street Dancer 3D. Hammy acting, interchangeable set pieces, and Remo D'souza's mis-direction result in an overlong slog of a film.
