Chhapaak has shown a 50% drop on Monday (Day 4) at the box office in comparison to Friday. Drop is significant and this is not a good sign for the rest of the weekdays. There are partial holidays on Tuesday and Wednesday but the film may not be able to take full benefit of that as collections have already come down to a lower level.
Chhapaak has added 2.35 crore net approx on day 4. The film's total business thus stands at 21.35 crore net approx. The film's first-week business is heading towards 27-28 crore net range. There is a big possibility that the lifetime business of the film may wrap up in around 40 crore net mark.
Ideally, Chhapaak needs to cross 50 crore net in India to emerge as a success. It is looking a distant dream unless film shows super strong trending in the second week. Chances are very slim though of happening that.

Big drop, looks like its going to be hard for Meghna gulzar this time to cross the limit. This is a hard subject to digest, even in newspaper people intent to avoid this kind of subject and this is a God damm movie
